Holyhood and St. Joseph Cemeteries, known as the Holyhood Cemetery Association, are long regarded as two of the most attractive cemeteries in New England and have a rich heritage going back over 150 years.
Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in the Chestnut Hill area of Brookline, Holyhood is a picturesque Victorian cemetery of narrow, winding paths, often ornate grave markers, graceful old trees, and flowering shrubbery. St. Joseph, located in nearby West Roxbury on about 200 acres, is also a beautiful cemetery with rolling terrain, well maintained grounds, and an historic chapel as its dominant feature.
Along with careful restorations of fine old structures and professional attention to physical integrity, Holyhood Cemetery Association has a deep commitment to extending respectful care and compassion. We invite you to browse our site, and contact us with any inquiries.
News Update: The damage at St. Joseph's was minimal and amounted to approximately 10 monuments located in a small section of St. Joseph's. These monuments will be uprighted by St Joseph's personnel by the end of this week.
